Power In Numbers
A statement by LuLaRoe today in Business Insider says that the number of damages reported are statistically irrelevant, or non existent. But they claim to care about the consumer and they stand behind their products. I share an opinion that the independent retailers should not suffer because of a problem in manufacturing and this is an issue that LuLaRoe needs to address directly with customers. If a Mary Kay product was causing a rash, Mary Kay would replace it and investigate why. When Younique's mascara formula went to pot, they offered free returns from a corporate level. These were not issues the consultant should have handled. Many anti-MommyBloggers say that we're out to hurt the consultants. That's the opposite. We are here fighting because the consultants are getting hurt... and this is a great example of another method. If she's not in control of what product she gets, and she's not responsible for where and how it's manufactured, she should not be responsible for issuing refunds. This is a corporate problem, and should be handled directly by corporate. I've created a Google doc to collect information for the purpose of showing LuLaRoe that there is more out there than a few hundred BBB complaints, that the issue is real, and it can no longer be ignored. I will collect statistical data and use it to create another article and the document itself that each of you file will be sent to LuLaRoe and any consumer protection agency available to assist something be done about this immediately. You can find the doc HERE. Please use it for all DAMAGED items, and one document per person- all items on one document. Please provide your contact information should either LuLaRoe or another entity involved need to contact you to validate the information. This form is not endorsed or sponsored by LuLaRoe. It is my independant attempt to gather data to show the damage rate is much more than the company represents and the customer AND consultant demand better. Please share this with your groups, customers, anyone who may have experienced a damage.
