Intrusive, much?
With the Happiness Policy going live with seemingly little forethought into the implementation of the program, there had been reports to MommyGyver that consultant addresses and phone numbers had been passed out from Home Office to disgruntled customers looking for refunds. Several issues presented themselves right away- first- the policy was announced to the public less than 24 hours after the consultants were made aware that this change was going to take place. They were given no training on it, no information other than the general idea of it- and most importantly, no opportunity to opt out. Invoices are now carrying the Happiness Policy on them- regardless if the consultant that sold them is participating or not. This can be fodder for a pretty uncomfortable conversation between customer and consultant later on. Happiness? You mean potential reluctant consultant acceptance of sub-par half-assed PR stunt, yes? As if that wasn't getting enough criticism, you know LuLaRoe couldn't just stop there. How about handing out the information of resigned consultants? This former consultant (identity protected) reached out to MommyGyver this evening to share some screen shots and her story. She resigned from LuLaRoe officially 4/17/17 and received confirmation that she was no longer active shortly thereafter. Feeling ill after her recent trip to the ER, while tending to her mother who had surgery on Thursday, the very last thing she expected was for her phone to begin to ring with requests for Happiness Policy Returns. Living just outside Indianapolis, there are several active consultants around her- yet her phone rang not once, not twice, but NINE times Thursday with customers who somehow gained her personal phone number from LuLaRoe. "My Mom was in surgery today," she told me. "I, myself am recovering from an ER visit Tuesday evening because of severe neck spasms. I need rest, not this crap!" The former consultant went on to explain that even a man had called to cash in on the new return policy. Trying to get to the bottom of it, she sent an email to her upline, and then directly to her mentor- Katie Mooney. This woman, obviously very frustrated when she contacted MommyGyver expressed that she went to all lengths to sever her ties with LuLaRoe. She removed her facebook business page, renamed her Instagram account, and stated she even hand deleted every member of her facebook vip group and then the group itself- just to be certain there were no ties to LuLaroe, and yet the phone rang anyway. She shared screenshots of her communication with mentor Mooney as well as her understandably frustrated email to Home Office this evening. I'm certain she's not the first or the last of these- as a woman reported to me yesterday that she was somehow listed on the consultant map- and had never onboarded! Way to keep the surprises rolling, LLR.
