Mentorgate
People are still reeling over the 100% buyback ending, and slowly more and more information is starting to come out. Some mentors have announced after their meeting in Utah last month that many changes were going to be happening- some updates would be shared in Build, some would be via press release. This information is shown here in a screen shot from Meagan Parker's leadership page.
She discusses above that there are challenges happening in the field. One could venture to guess she's referring to the ever booming GOOB sale influx as retailers scramble to get out of Dodge. Lots of changes are coming, she says- but trust her. Trust LuLaRoe. It's all for the best for you. The screen shot below is yet another leader who... oops... admits that the 100% buyback policy was something she wanted to see ended. Meagan above said that all those that were on the trip were united in their desires for certain changes. Was this one of the things they wanted to see gone? Betsy here says yes.
Betsy here claims that the comments about the buyback policy not going anywhere were made from mentors that thought LLR was not going to change it because they were opposed to ending it. Essentially, she claims that the end of the 100% buyback did take them by surprise. Not because they didn't know about it, but because they had asked for it, and LuLaRoe originally said no. There is another screenshot floating around- one that I won't include because I can't verify who said it. In this shot, they talk about a mentor who was totally blindsided by this move. Is it possible this was a mentor that didn't make the meeting? Betsy here sure said a lot in her last paragraph there, and if it aligns with the unified stance Ms. Parker discusses in her screenshot... well... that at least explains the swearing from the mentors like Kim Roylance who said the policy wasn't going anywhere.
