Two Women, One Mission
When I decided to launch the support small, women-owned aspect of my page, I was really expecting to get an influx of the "entrepreneur in a box". You know, the woman who bought an enrolment kit from a multilevel marketing company and declared that she too was a business owner! Hear me roar! And then I would have to stop her self-petting and say- "No, hun. I mean women who start THEIR OWN businesses. From scratch." That hasn't happened a lot at all, thankfully and the very first company that contacted me was "Affordable Styles For You"- a duo of divas, Athena and Mara- with one focus in mind: Affordable, comfy clothing with amazing customer service. Everything, and I MEAN EVERYTHING is under $30, and still rocking the good quality. Hell.to.the.yeah. But wait, there's more. This east coast e-commerce site always offers free shipping too. Mara and Athena took the "live sale" aspect of social selling and included it in their online presence. Every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST, they do a live sale on their social media page- for those of you that liked the feeling of the LuLaRoe lives- you should be able to get your fix there. To tell you a little more about Mara and Athena, I am going to share their own words here: Shopping with Affordable Styles For You: We offer lives every Sunday and Wednesday @9pm est right on the page with all new inventory to shop from as well as wall drops every day. We do leave the replays up and encourage shopping from replays as well! There is an optional VIP group to join for additional perks, discounts, TRL lives but it is totally optional and no one will miss out on any inventory if they elect not to join! We are expanding every single month with added styles and LOVE to get customer's input on what they want to see! We carry sizes S-3X in most styles. We also carry One Size, Curvy and Curvy Plus leggings (covering up to sizes 4X/5X). We are actively trying to source sizes 4X/5X in other styles as well! We also carry little ladies clothing ranging sizes 12/24 month - 10/12. Along with clothing we offer a line of handmade designer jewelry made by a local designer who has even designed for celebrities! She makes a special line just for us also under $30!!! We will be looking to also add some other accessories along with other local handmade fashion accessories to the mix this fall! Our focus is styles and accessories all under $30 and to create a judge free shopping atmosphere for ladies and really just want to pamper them! At Affordable Styles For You, our #1 mission is to provide our customers with not only comfortable, stylish, quality clothing but also superior customer service and inventory based on customer's request. What's best is that everything is under $30 too! Meet owners, Athena and Mara: We have both always been passionate and dedicated to helping other women feel better about themselves. Mara is a personal trainer specializing in women and senior fitness and enjoyed celebrating each and every accomplishment with her clients and watching them get healthier, feel better in their own skin and overall become happier. Athena, among other talents, fell in love with making homemade little ladies fashion accessories and providing affordable options for moms and their daughters. Both of us, like most women, found ourselves struggling with self image issues ourselves. We both stumbled on to Lularoe and Piphany, both companies offering stylish and comfortable clothing. We found styles that made us feel cute again and even better they were comfortable! So we both decided to expand and open our own boutiques and help even more women feel comfortable yet stylish in their own clothes! Over time however, it was clear these companies were not focused on their customers or consultants and instead chose to price gouge and participate in unethical business practices. So we set out on a mission to start our own boutique dedicated to our customers, their needs, their wants and their price range! And so was born Affordable Styles For You, launched in June 2018. We work long and hard to source styles our customers are looking for all for under $30! Each and every month we are expanding with more and more styles and options and we look forward to having you come join us! We love to pamper our customers!!! And there you have it, ladies.
