Blessed and Obsessed- ShopSmall Biz
Nikki is a lot like many of us. She started out her love for fashion while at home with her two littles- Hadlee (4) and Elliott (2) (and two amazing step daughters too) rocking and rolling with LuLaRoe. Somewhere in there, she decided that she wanted to do her own thing- select merchandise she thought would be desirable to her local people, and converted her LuLaRoom into an obsession. "Blessed and Obsessed" was born right there. She's a sort of Jane of all trades. She and her hubby own a bowling alley in town that's been handed down through the family for decades. She was a beauty school instructor until her baby girls were born, and she dabbles in makeup for photo shoots. But her dream, she jokes- "Was to be able to sell a customer an outfit that matched!" Wanting to give the customer the "whole package", Blessed and Obsessed became a primarily e-commerce shop, but she maintains the boutique room in her home for her locals to come by and shop in person. She says she loves to form close personal one on one relationships with her customers- and based on a few things I saw in the online shop, I also would love to head over if I were closer and raid those racks!
Nikki hopes to be able to have a true retail shop in the near future- somewhere in her town's downtown area. For now, she's limited to her in-home shop and the online presence, but that won't stop her from making her customers feel amazing. Looking at the Facebook Business Page, it isn't difficult to see that Nikki is having a LOT of fun with her boutique room and clothing selections. Often caught via selfie share, she's "not only the president, but also a client" of her own store. And the looks she sports match her so well.
I think what I personally find so appealing about her store is that her selections seem to be genuine. I can see that she really picks the styles not because she thinks they will fly off the shelves (like most retailers) but because she really loves each one.
