It isn't just you- it's Facebook

Facebook went down today for what appears to be a large number of users across the globe. And then the hashtags and memes ensued. On Twitter, tweets sporting the hashtag #facebookdown can be seen everywhere. At approximately 12:30 CST, downdetector.com showed massive outages spreading from the east US coast inward through the midwest. In South America, a large outage on both the east and west coast is reported. Scattered outages through Canada, Mexico, and the UK are reported as well. I'll be following along as details emerge.
